NEW SUPPORTERS CLUB MATCHDAY VENUE! The main branch committee of West Bromwich Albion Supporters Club are pleased to announce that from the Bristol City game on November 21st and for the league games for the rest of the season (Cup games are provisional), Main Branch members and affiliated members will have exclusive use of the Pennington Suite in the East Stand.
Entrance to the suite will be via the East Stand. Members must produce their membership cards or you will be refused entry. Non members will NOT be allowed to join on matchdays. The dress code laid down for the rest of the East Stand applies, this means no trainers, no ripped or bleached denims, and no football shirts (these can be covered whilst you are in the stand). These rules will be applied strictly and members will be refused entry if these conditions are not met. No food is allowed in the suite. The suite has a maximum capacity of 100 so the key is to be there early. There is a bar and sky television will be shown. The suite will only be open before the game and access to the ground will be via your normal ticket turnstile. Please take the chance to use the facility. The committee has worked long and hard to find a viable alternative to the Hawthorns pub and now believe they have a reasonably suitable matchday venue for our members, at least for the remainder of the 2009/10 season. The chairman and the committee of the supporters club have great faith in our members and believe we can all make this arrangement work. Please adhere to the rules laid down by the football club, and please enjoy and utilise to the maximum the facilities we have sought to provide. Supporters Club Members should receive a letter confirming the above this week. The facility will only be accessible via the fire exit adjacent to the Pennington Suite staircase. Additional Information · Opening times will be restricted to 3hrs prior to kick-off at all matches played at either 3pm or 5.30pm. For all evening fixtures doors will be open from 6pm. WBASC to arrange for suitable notification of these times. · The suite will be closed 15 minutes prior to kick-off. · Access will only be granted on production of a valid membership card. · Disabled access can be arranged should this be required. · All members are restricted to the use of the Pennington Suite Facility and toilets only and access to the additional suites and services is not permitted.
